What is it all about?
Owners may be held civilly liable for damage caused to third parties by trees or branches falling from their property.
The SRFB offers you, as a member, a collective liability insurance for forests. This insurance is taken out by the Royal Forest Society of Belgium with the Cie Vivium through an independent broker (FSMA 0419 138 285).
Rate
This service is included in the Premium membership fee of €53.50 (flat rate) + €1.34/ha at in addition to your basic contribution. Forest liability insurance also includes legal protection.

Updating your insurance?
If you wish to update your hectares, send an e-mail to the RFSB secretariat (secretariat@srfb-kbbm.be) giving your personal details and the areas to be updated.

How do I take out forestry liability insurance?
Our Forest Liability insurance is only accessible to SRFB members who have paid their premium membership fees.
