How do you report a claim?

To declare a claim under our forestry liability insurance*

Your claim statement must include the following information:

Your RFSB membership number

The date of the damage

The scene of the incident

(cadastral plot number)

The circumstances of the incident

What happened?

The cause of the incident

(falling branches, falling trees, rockfalls, mudslides…)

A description of the damage

The identity of the insured party and their full contact details

Photos of the disaster

The amicable statement

The various documents that have been forwarded to you by the policyholder or their insurer

You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt for your tax return.

This is forwarded to the insurance company Vivium via our independent broker (FSMA: 0419 138 285).

A file has been opened and the file references have been passed to you.

Document assurance écriture

Our company is contacting the opposing party and requesting supporting documents (the other party's version, itemised claim, etc.).

In some cases, **an expert** will visit the site to determine your liability, assess damages...

If your liability is acknowledged and the amount of the damage is established, Vivium will **reimburse the third party** after deduction of the excess.

You will receive confirmation of the payment to the other party.
