Healthy forests for healthy people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Celebrated around the world on 21 March, International Forest Day is an opportunity to take stock of what the forest has to offer and what it needs. The Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Royale Foresti\u00e8re de Belgique (SRFB), which is active in promoting and protecting the forest, organises activities to discover the forest, all its benefits and its sustainable management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Come and discover the For\u00eat de Soignes and its history during a 2h-2h30 walk, as part of the International Day of Forests. It's also an opportunity to learn about the benefits of forests for human health. You can also try your hand at dendrology, like real experts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This walk is aimed at the general public, from 17 to 77 years old. Dogs do not like this walk. Please be on time, the Guide will be leaving at 2pm. Please register by 24 March at the latest by e-mail lehl.dubois@gmail.com<\/a> or text to 0496\/553.999<\/a>. Places are limited to 15 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royale Forestry Society of Belgium (RFSB) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the forest and foresters. Its Forest Friends projects are aimed at the general public who want to understand the forest environment. The RFSB's volunteer Forest Guides will help you discover the forest as a source of life, in close contact with mankind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
